Engaging Interactions is an Early Intervention Service supporting children 0-10yrs of age with developmental or learning challenges and their families.
Our main focus at Engaging Interactions is to:

Strengthen parent – child engagement and attachment

Support children as they develop functional life skills to help them meet the demands and challenges of everyday life

Support children in their ability to become regulated, intentional and logical thinkers

Empower parents/caregivers through coaching and support so that they can be a driving force in their child’s early intervention

Focus on the integration of all developmental areas – social, emotional, motor, sensory, language and cognitive through play based, child lead experiences.

Support children and families in their chosen environment – home, park, community playgroup, play centre, mother’s group playdate.
Engaging Interactions applies the developmental,
relationship – based approach called DIR Floortime®.
DIR® (Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-based model) is a
holistic approach to working with children with learning and developmental
challenges where the objective is to build healthy foundations for social, emotional,
and intellectual capacities through play -based Floortime® sessions.
